Job Title: Senior GCP Cloud Architect – SAP (AMS)

Project: Zuellig Pharma

Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days onsite – Parañaque)

Shift: Day Shift (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior GCP Cloud Architect with strong SAP expertise to lead Application Managed Services (AMS) for SAP environments hosted on Google Cloud Platform. This role focuses on ensuring operational stability, performance optimization, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement of mission-critical SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

AMS Governance & Operations

Ensure adherence to SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs across SAP systems.
Provide L3/L4 support guidance, lead root cause analysis, and drive permanent fixes.
Develop and enhance runbooks, SOPs, and operational standards.

SAP Landscape Management

Oversee SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, and BTP integrations.
Manage system refreshes, transports, upgrades, and patches.

GCP Operations & Optimization

Optimize cloud resources (Compute Engine, storage, networking).
Implement monitoring, logging, and cost optimization strategies (FinOps).

Performance & Reliability

Tune SAP HANA performance and ensure HA/DR readiness.
Maintain robust backup, restore, and business continuity processes.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

Drive automation using Terraform and scripting.
Improve monitoring frameworks and operational efficiency.

Security & Compliance

Enforce cloud security standards, IAM controls, encryption, and audit compliance.

Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary architecture SPOC and lead service reviews with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

10–15 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in cloud architecture (GCP preferred).
Strong expertise in SAP BASIS and SAP AMS environments.
Proficiency in GCP services (Compute, VPC, IAM, monitoring tools).
Experience with Terraform, scripting, and ITIL processes.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
