Role Overview:
The US Registered Nurse (USRN) Trainer is responsible for the effective delivery and administration of clinical training programs for new and tenured nursing staff. This role ensures training content is aligned with client requirements, organizational standards, and U.S. healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct New Hire Training (NHT) sessions for USRN roles across clinical programs (Utilization Management, Case Management, Clinical Appeals, Triage, Claims Review).
Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and hybrid training sessions using adult learning principles.
Develop, review, and update training modules, assessments, and reference materials.
Ensure training content reflects client guidelines, U.S. healthcare protocols, and HIPAA standards.
Conduct knowledge assessments, practical evaluations, and certification activities.
Document trainee performance and provide coaching and developmental support.
Identify learning gaps and facilitate upskill and refresher training sessions.
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted U.S. Registered Nurse (USRN) license – required.
Minimum 2–3 years clinical bedside experience (ER, ICU, Med-Surg, Telemetry) – required.
Minimum 1 year experience as a USRN Trainer in a BPO or U.S. Healthcare account – required.
Knowledge of MCG/Milliman, InterQual, clinical guidelines, HIPAA, and U.S. medical terminology.
Familiarity with adult learning principles, curriculum design, or training methodologies.
Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
