Job Title: SOC Manager

Work Setup / Location: Hybrid / Onsite – Quezon City (Cyberpark Tower 1) and Cebu City (Ayala IT Park)

Work Schedule: Shifting Schedule

Salary Range: Confidential (Final offer will depend on client/project assignment)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SOC (Security Operations Center) Manager to lead and manage day-to-day cybersecurity operations for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in security monitoring, incident response, and cyber defense operations, along with experience managing cross-functional teams and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee SOC operations for multiple clients during both transition and run phases.

Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for incident response, log sourcing, and threat detection workflows.

Provide guidance on SIEM technologies (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel), use case development, and troubleshooting.

Act as the service delivery manager responsible for daily operations, escalation management, and KPI/SLA compliance.

Collaborate with client teams to drive remediation and risk mitigation initiatives.

Oversee SOC resources, scheduling, and workload management.

Participate in business development efforts, including proposal responses (RFPs, RFIs).

Promote continuous improvement and automation within SOC processes.

Mentor, coach, and develop SOC team members to build a high-performing culture.

Ensure all activities comply with security frameworks and policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Telecommunications, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 10 years of experience in information/cybersecurity roles focused on security monitoring and analysis.

At least 3 years of leadership experience managing security teams and operations.

Deep understanding of SIEM, CASB, DLP, WAF, IAM/PAM, MFA, DRM and related security technologies.

Strong experience with incident management, escalation handling, and stakeholder communication.

Familiarity with compliance and governance frameworks (ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOX, FISMA).

Must not be a current or former employee of restricted clients (e.g., Accenture).

Must not have any active or pending applications with the same client.

Must have the legal right to live and work in the Philippines.

Preferred Skills / Certifications

Certifications in cybersecurity or cloud technologies such as:

CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CISA, CCSK, AZ-500, SC-200, AWS/Azure/GCP Solutions Architect.

Familiarity with cloud security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, GDPR, PCI DSS, HIPAA, etc.).

Scripting skills (Shell, Python, PowerShell, Azure CLI, AWS CLI).

Experience managing hybrid cloud SOC environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Additional Requirements

Willing to work on a shifting schedule.

Willing to report onsite 3x a week (or daily as required) to Quezon City or Cebu site.

Must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.
