Procurement Team Member
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 1–10 Years
Job Overview
We are looking for a Procurement Team Member with experience in sourcing and transactional procurement. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in procurement operations, sourcing activities, supplier coordination, purchase order management, and procurement helpdesk support.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement transactions from Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) processing.
Create, amend, confirm, track, and expedite purchase orders.
Support direct and indirect materials procurement activities.
Handle spot-buying activities, including RFQs, quotation collection, bid comparison, and sourcing recommendations.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely procurement execution.
Resolve supplier and user queries through procurement helpdesk support.
Analyze supplier quotations and recommend cost-effective sourcing solutions.
Ensure compliance with procurement processes, policies, and controls.
Maintain accurate procurement records and system data.
Support process improvement and procurement best practices.
Required Skills
Strong sourcing and procurement knowledge.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong MS Office and MS Excel skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills.
Customer-centric approach and strong collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
Results-oriented approach.
Sourcing and project management capabilities.
Preferred Profile
1–10 years of experience in sourcing and transactional procurement.
Experience in both direct and indirect materials procurement.
Hands-on experience with PR processing, PO creation/amendments, PO confirmations, and expediting.
Experience in spot buying, RFQs, quotation evaluation, and comparative analysis.
Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
Experience across both sourcing and procurement operations.
