Job Title : Senior Front-End / UI Developer – AEM

Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Front-End / UI Developer with strong Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience to build and support scalable, secure, and high-performing customer-facing web platforms in Makati, Philippines. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern front-end development and hands-on experience with AEM Sites, reusable components, templates, dialogs, content structures, and author/publish workflows.

The role involves translating UI/UX designs and business requirements into responsive web experiences, developing reusable AEM components, integrating REST APIs and backend services, troubleshooting complex UI and AEM issues, and supporting enterprise web platforms across development, release, migration, and production environments.

Location, Work Mode & Shift

Location: Makati City, Metro Manila
Work Setup: Hybrid
Shift: Night Shift – 8:00 PM start
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 7+ Years preferred

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, scalable, and high-performing AEM-based web interfaces.
Develop and maintain reusable AEM components, templates, dialogs, and front-end libraries using modern web technologies.
Build front-end functionality using HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, and Vue.js while integrating REST APIs and backend services.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex AEM, UI, browser compatibility, performance, integration, and production issues.
Collaborate with product, UX, QA, backend, DevOps, security, and business teams to deliver high-quality enterprise web solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
7+ years of professional web development experience or demonstrated senior-level capability.
Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager, including AEM Sites, components, templates, dialogs, content structures, and author/publish workflows.
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
Practical experience with Vue.js; React or Angular experience is an advantage.
Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs, backend services, and content management platforms.
Strong understanding of accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, debugging, and secure coding practices.
Experience with Git or similar version control tools and modern Agile development workflows.
AEM 6.5, AEM as a Cloud Service, Cloud Manager, Apache Sling, HTL/Sightly, OSGi, Dispatcher, and DAM experience is preferred.

Important Notes

Hybrid work arrangement in Makati City.
Candidates must be willing to work a Night Shift with an 8:00 PM start.
Strong hands-on AEM experience is highly important for this role.
Experience with enterprise-scale, customer-facing web platforms is preferred.
