Language Requirements
- Japanese: JLPT N1 (or native proficiency)
- English: B2 or higher
Minimum Skills & Experience
- At least 1–2 years in B2B or Account Management (SaaS experience preferred)
- Proven experience in customer success, consulting, or account management
- Experience providing multi-channel support (phone, chat, email, web, etc.)
- Skilled in managing accounts via video conferencing and email
- Knowledgeable in CRM tools (preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Encourage clients to adopt and maximize use of new platform features aligned with their business needs.
- Conduct regular business reviews (quarterly/annual) to drive value realization for clients.
- Identify and mitigate churn and downsell risks by proactively addressing customer concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Technical Support, Operations, Finance, Engineering) to relay customer feedback and drive improvements.
- Act as the customer’s point of contact, aligning them with enablement resources for adoption and growth.
- Support the customer lifecycle from onboarding to renewal by providing consultation, guidance, and support.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of direct, enterprise-level customer success or account management experience in a SaaS company (B2B setting preferred).
- Strong skills in strategic planning, relationship management, and project management.
- Ability to adapt communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in Japanese (N1 or native proficiency) and English.
