Job Title: Global Payroll Manager
Location: Chennai
Experience: 8–15 Years
CTC: ₹16–17 LPA
Band: BPO 5
Work Mode: Onsite (5 Days – Chennai Office)
Role Summary
We are hiring an experienced Global Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll operations across EMEA countries. This role involves payroll governance, compliance, vendor and stakeholder management, and handling payroll integrations using Workday and ServiceNow. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in EMEA payroll and hands-on experience with Workday integrations (Connector, PECI, PICOF).
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Operations
Manage monthly payroll processing across multiple EMEA countries
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory regulations
Governance & Compliance
Maintain payroll controls, audit readiness, and GDPR compliance
Ensure adherence to country-specific payroll regulations
Workday Integrations
Handle payroll data integrations using Workday Connector, PECI, and PICOF
Validate and optimize payroll data flow
ServiceNow (SNOW)
Manage payroll service requests, incidents, and SLAs
Maintain knowledge base and drive process improvements
Vendor Management
Oversee payroll vendors and ensure performance and compliance
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with HR, Finance, Compliance, and leadership teams
Provide dashboards, reports, and executive updates
Controls & Reconciliation
Manage payroll reconciliations, finance postings, and approvals
Ensure pre-payroll and post-payroll checks
Change & Projects
Lead payroll transitions, new country go-lives, and implementation projects
Manage testing, KT (Knowledge Transfer), and documentation
Reporting & Analytics
Generate reports and insights using advanced Excel
Perform root cause analysis and track payroll metrics
Qualifications & Experience
8–15 years of experience in global payroll (EMEA preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/HR/Business or related field
Payroll certifications (CIPP/APA) preferred
Hands-on experience with Workday (Connector, PECI, PICOF) and ServiceNow
Strong knowledge of compliance, tax, GDPR, and payroll processes
Advanced Excel and reporting skills
