Job Title: SAS Programmer

Location: Mumbai / Bangalore / Pune
Experience: 6 – 10 Years
Band: BPO 5 / 6

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAS Programmer with strong expertise in clinical data standards and bio-pharmaceutical analytics. The candidate will be responsible for data derivation, transformation, statistical analysis, and regulatory reporting using SAS in a GxP-compliant environment.

SDTM, ADAM, TLF
Strong SAS programming expertise (SAS Certified preferred)
Data derivation, transformation, and reporting

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
SAS Certification with 6+ years of full-time SAS experience

Experience & Competencies

6+ years of hands-on experience in SAS programming
Experience in bio-pharmaceutical or drug development domain
Strong understanding of GxP, ALCOA principles, and regulatory standards
Exposure to analytical/laboratory data and systems
Experience working with multiple data sources and formats
Understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Strong collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members and participate in daily discussions
Work with Data Management Leads to gather and understand requirements
Design, develop, and execute SAS programs for data analysis and reporting
Perform data extraction, transformation, and merging for regulatory submissions (eCTD)
Develop edit checks for data validation and cleaning
Conduct statistical analysis, including shelf-life estimation
Generate reports, tables, listings, and graphical outputs (TLF)
Deliver draft outputs within defined timelines (24 hours for internal review)
Maintain proper documentation as per regulatory and company standards
Handle multiple projects with overlapping timelines
Escalate issues to Project Lead in a timely manner
Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP regulations, and training requirements
