Purchase Order Processing Lead – P2P
Location: Kolkata, India | Work Setup: Onsite, ANZ Shift
Job Type: Full-time | Band: BPO 4/5 | Experience: 5–11 Years
Salary: 11–17 LPA
Shift: ANZ [4:00 AM – 5:00 AM IST start]
Purpose
Lead end-to-end Purchase Order Processing under P2P. Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely PO creation, change, and closure. Manage and develop the PO team, drive SLA adherence, process controls, and continuous improvement. Act as key client/stakeholder contact for escalations and RCA-driven solutions.
Key Accountabilities
- Team Leadership: Lead the PO processing team to meet SLA for PO creation, amendments, and closure
- Process Governance: Own P2P controls, SOPs, and compliance checks. Set up and enhance process frameworks
- Transformation: Drive standardization, optimization, and automation to reduce cycle time and improve efficiency
- Stakeholder Management: Independently handle client communications, escalations, and stakeholder calls. Partner with Procurement, AP, Finance, and Business
- Issue Resolution: Perform Root Cause Analysis for recurring issues. Implement corrective and preventive actions
- Performance: Monitor KPIs, productivity, and quality metrics. Drive improvement plans
- Audit & Compliance: Support internal/external audits and ensure adherence to procurement policies and controls
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 8–10 years in Procurement/P2P. 5–11 years overall experience considered
- Systems: JDE or SAP experience required. Proficient in MS Office
- Communication: Fluent English [written & spoken]. Strong customer interaction, empathy, and ability to handle difficult conversations
- Competencies: Analytical skills, Time management, Documentation & knowledge sharing, High accountability, Self-motivated, Positive attitude, Flexible for working hours
- Working Conditions: ANZ shift mandatory. 5 days’ work from office only. No WFH[Word][Excel][PowerPoint]
