Job Opportunity: Six Sigma Black Belt – Payroll Process Improvement (TCS)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Six Sigma Black Belt professional with strong expertise in payroll process improvement. This role involves leading transformation initiatives within payroll operations using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Process Improvement
Lead Six Sigma projects to streamline payroll processes and reduce errors
Apply DMAIC methodology to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements
Develop SOPs, process documentation, and training materials
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze payroll data to identify trends and root causes
Define and track KPIs related to payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Automation & Technology Integration
Collaborate with IT and payroll teams to implement automation solutions
Evaluate and deploy tools to enhance data accuracy and reduce manual efforts
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure payroll processes adhere to policies, tax laws, and labor regulations
Conduct audits and risk assessments to mitigate compliance issues
Training & Mentorship
Train and mentor team members on Six Sigma tools and best practices
Promote a culture of continuous improvement
Required Skills
Strong expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC)
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in tools like Excel, Minitab, or other statistical software
In-depth knowledge of payroll processes and compliance requirements
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) or equivalent certification
Minimum 5+ years of experience in process improvement, preferably in payroll operations
Preferred Skills
Experience in payroll or HR domain
Project management experience
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
