Job Title: Finance & Accounts Manager ( English + Local Malay)
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a key member of our finance department, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance. The role requires a deep understanding of financial management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic business environment.
Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and implement financial planning strategies to support business objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to optimize financial performance.

Accounting Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in compliance with accounting principles.

Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Generate management reports to communicate financial performance to key stakeholders.

Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and tax laws.
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow, monitor working capital, and optimize liquidity.
- Provide recommendations for improving cash flow efficiency.

Financial Audits:
- Coordinate and facilitate external audits.
- Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.

Financial Strategy and Advisory:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Provide financial advice and guidance to support decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar finance role.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws in Malaysia.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in financial software and MS Office applications.
