Job Title: Senior Control Engineer

Function: BMS (Building Management Systems)

Reports to: Manager, BMS APAC

The Senior Control Engineer role will be working closely with our Design, Construction and Critical Operation teams. He/ She must have good knowledge of HVAC systems and have a proven ability in building management systems design. This will also include system commissioning and managing vendors to upkeep as-build documentations. As this role will be required to work with multiple teams, he/ she will be expected to be resourceful and able to work independently.

Requirements:

• Working experience in Data Center environment

• Has expert controls system knowledge, and field devices selection (Valve, Actuators,

Sensors, Differential Pressure Transmittals, Etc)

• A good knowledge of power/energy metering in Data Center domain will be an added

advantage

• An expert level working knowledge of at least 2 BMS systems is preferred. Schneider

EcoStruxure Building Operation ideally being one of them.

• An expert level working knowledge of system integration experience. Additional

knowledge of webservices will be an added advantage.

• A good level of IP networks and windows server expertise

• Job will require to traveling around APAC region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assures adherence to developed standards and policy through review of

documentation, participation in commissioning activities

• Develop and implement BMS system related policies, procedures, best practices, and

standards. Ensuring local activities adhere to these standards

• Effectively interacts with other internal and external teams, including the design

engineering, site engineering, regional operations teams, onsite support for vendors

and consultants on projects, policies, procedures, and standards

• Effectively interact with other internal and external teams, including the design

engineering, site engineering and regional operations teams

• Ensure adherence to developed and implemented standards and policy through review of documentation and participation in commissioning activities

• Find and diagnose networking issues that impacts BMS system functionality and

provide a detailed resolution

• Interrogate multiple devices using open protocols such as Modbus TCP/RTU, BACnet

• Lead various size projects

• Mentor and train local BMS vendor and Internal teams

• Make recommendations for system level enhancements to eliminate potential

problems

• Perform system maintenance and provide support

• Provide onsite support to vendors and consultants on projects, policies, procedures,

and standards

• Understand PUE and other efficiency calculations within the data center space,

correlate BMS data vs Tenant power usage and present that into the customer portal
