Finance and Accounts – BlackLine Consultant
NOIDA | BPO 4 | Up to ₹12 LPA | 7–10 Years Experience | Job Code: 414811
About the Role
Transform how a global finance function closes the books. As a BlackLine Consultant, you’ll be the go‑to expert for implementing and optimising BlackLine modules that streamline account reconciliations, task management, journals, and more. You’ll sit at the intersection of finance and technology, capturing business requirements directly from customers, configuring solutions, and driving adoption across all core modules. If you’re a hands‑on problem‑solver with deep ERP application knowledge and a passion for turning complex financial processes into efficient, automated workflows, this is your opportunity to lead impactful projects from NOIDA.
What You’ll Do
Lead BlackLine Implementations: Own 2–3 full‑cycle projects covering Account Reconciliation, Task Management, and Journals. You’ll configure the system, guide the business on best practices, and ensure successful go‑lives.
Expand Module Expertise: Utilise and champion additional BlackLine capabilities like Intercompany Hub (ICH), Cash Application, Financial Reporting Analytics (FRA), and BI Studio—enhancing end‑to‑end close processes.
Translate Business Needs: Interface directly with customers to understand their finance requirements, document them clearly, and map them to BlackLine’s configuration (knowing when to configure vs. customise).
Troubleshoot & Optimise: Tackle issues that may span beyond your core module, using strong analytical skills and ERP knowledge to find root causes and implement fixes. Build or understand standard and custom ERP reports to support decision‑making.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with finance leaders, IT teams, and end‑users. You’ll manage expectations, provide status updates, and deliver solutions that stick.
Ensure Delivery Excellence: Leverage project and delivery skills to keep initiatives on track, within scope, and aligned to SLAs and compliance standards.
What You’ll Bring
Education & Background: Minimum 15 years of regular full‑time education (10+2+3) and a bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting (or equivalent) with ERP certification/proficiency. A non‑technical master’s (M.Com) or CA Inter is ideal; a full CA or Cost Accountant qualification is a strong plus.
Experience: 7 to 10 years in finance and accounts, with substantial hands‑on experience working with BlackLine across multiple modules.
BlackLine Mastery: Proven ability to deliver projects on Account Reconciliation, Task Management, and Journals. Exposure to ICH, Cash Application, FRA, and BI Studio is highly valued.
ERP & Analytical Acumen: Deep ERP application knowledge (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and sharp problem‑solving skills. You can distinguish between configuration and customisation and know when each is appropriate.
Finance Domain Understanding: Strong grasp of core accounting, month‑end close, reconciliations, and reporting—enabling you to quickly understand and address business requirements.
Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You can confidently interact with customers, document requirements, and manage relationships.
Project & Delivery Skills: Experience driving project tasks, meeting deadlines, and delivering high‑quality outcomes.
Troubleshooting Mindset: Ability to resolve issues beyond your core module, collaborating across teams to keep systems running smoothly.
