Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Specialized Scheduler with strong hands-on expertise in Primavera P6 to support scheduling operations across large-scale infrastructure and capital projects. The role involves developing, maintaining, and updating integrated project schedules while ensuring schedule accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with established project controls standards.

The successful candidate will work closely with scheduling leads, engineering teams, construction teams, and global stakeholders to monitor project progress, analyze schedule performance, identify delays, and support timely project delivery. Experience in hyperscale data centres, power infrastructure, transmission interconnections, or other complex capital projects will be an advantage.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.

2. Establish Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity sequences, durations, dependencies, milestones, and project baselines.

3. Monitor critical path activities, near-critical paths, and key project milestones.

4. Collect and validate progress updates from engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.

5. Perform schedule updates, progress validation, variance analysis, and forecast completion dates.

6. Conduct schedule health checks to identify missing logic, unrealistic durations, constraints, and other scheduling issues.

7. Maintain schedule data accuracy, version control, and compliance with project scheduling procedures.

8. Prepare schedule performance reports, progress dashboards, milestone trackers, and management presentations.

9. Support schedule recovery planning and recommend corrective actions for delayed activities.

10. Coordinate with scheduling leads and global delivery teams to resolve scheduling discrepancies.

11. Support scenario modelling, time impact assessments, and schedule optimization.

12. Contribute to standardization and continuous improvement of scheduling operations.

Required Skills

• 7–11 years of experience in project scheduling for infrastructure or capital projects.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Primavera P6.

• Experience in schedule development, baseline management, WBS, activity sequencing, and critical path analysis.

• Knowledge of project lifecycle stages, including planning, engineering, construction, and commissioning.

• Experience in schedule updates, progress measurement, variance analysis, and forecasting.

• Strong understanding of schedule quality checks and data integrity.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project reporting.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination skills.

• Ability to manage multiple schedules and competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

• PMP, PMI-SP, or Primavera P6 certification preferred.

• Experience in hyperscale data centres, utility infrastructure, or large-scale capital projects is desirable.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should have substantial practical experience using Primavera P6 for complex infrastructure schedules and should be capable of independently managing schedule updates, identifying critical delays, and producing reliable project reports. The role requires strong attention to detail, scheduling discipline, and flexibility to work rotational shifts.
