Job Description : 

We are looking for an experienced Capital Projects Management Associate Manager to manage project planning, scheduling, cost estimation, risk assessment, and performance monitoring for power generation, utility, and transmission and distribution projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project controls expertise and the ability to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets, timelines, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills :

5. Advanced Excel, KPI Reporting, and Earned Value Analysis

Key Responsibilities : 

• Manage project planning, scheduling, risk assessment, and cost control for power generation, transmission, and distribution projects.

• Prepare CAPEX/OPEX budgets, project cost estimates, forecasts, and variance analyses.

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.

• Perform critical path analysis, milestone tracking, and schedule monitoring.

• Monitor project performance using KPI dashboards, Earned Value Analysis (EVA), and monthly progress reports.

• Coordinate with procurement teams and stakeholders for bid evaluations, cost benchmarking, and project governance.

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks and project standards.

• Identify cost optimization opportunities and recommend corrective actions to improve project performance.

Qualifications : 

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, and Advanced Excel.

• Strong knowledge of project cost estimation, risk management, scheduling, and project controls.

• Understanding of CEA, CERC, and State Utility regulatory frameworks.

• Certifications in Project Management, Risk Management, or Cost Control are an added advantage.
