Job Summary

We are hiring a Customer Data Specialist with strong expertise in SAP and SMAX (Service Management Automation X) to manage service master data, installed base (IB), and work order operations. The role requires hands-on experience in service operations, logistics coordination, and master data governance, ensuring seamless integration between SAP and SMAX systems.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and maintain SMAX Service Contracts, Parts, Technicians, and Stocking Locations
Perform SAP Customer Setup, Technician Setup, and Master Data Maintenance
Manage Installed Base (IB) lifecycle: creation, updates, and decommissioning in SAP & SMAX
Create and manage Scheduled and Unscheduled Work Orders (WO) in SMAX
Handle Customer Master Change Requests ensuring data accuracy across systems
Perform ATP (Available-to-Promise) checks for service and parts availability
Manage SW version updates and system configuration changes
Ensure accuracy and governance of service master data and parts setup
Coordinate with service, logistics, and technical teams for operational efficiency
Conduct data audits and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience in SAP (S/4, TM/EWM) and SMAX
Expertise in Service Operations & Master Data Management
Experience in Installed Base (IB) lifecycle and Work Order management
Knowledge of Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations, and Logistics
Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Power BI
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Must Have (Screening Criteria)

Experience in transportation planning & execution, warehouse coordination, shipment lifecycle tracking
Ability to reconcile shipment records (dispatch vs receipt, freight bills vs contracted rates)
Hands-on experience with ERP/TMS/WMS systems (SAP S/4, SAP TM/EWM, Oracle, Manhattan, etc.)
Experience with Ariba / e-invoicing portals for vendor coordination
Strong experience in SAP–SMAX integration and service data management
