About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst (Portuguese) to support Finance & Accounting operations by researching, analyzing, and interpreting financial data from global organizations. In this role, you will work with financial statements, broker reports, earnings releases, and market data while leveraging your Portuguese language proficiency to deliver accurate financial insights. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in Financial Analysis, Capital Markets, Equity Research, Financial Reporting, and Data Validation who thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. B.Com, BAF, BMS, or MBA (Finance) is preferred.

5–8 years of overall professional experience, with 1–3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.

Portuguese language proficiency is mandatory.

Strong understanding of Finance & Accounting principles, financial workflows, and core accounting concepts.

Experience analyzing Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, broker reports, and financial disclosures.

Knowledge of Stock Markets, Capital Markets, Equity, Fixed Income, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and financial reporting.

Experience performing financial data extraction, reconciliation, validation, data verification, reporting, and web research.

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience interacting with clients.

Certifications such as NISM, CMSA, IFRS, or other finance-related certifications are an advantage.

Willing to work rotational and night shifts based on business requirements.
