Data Processing Associate
Location: Gandhinagar
Experience: 1–2 Years
Band: BPO 1
Salary: Up to ₹7 LPA
Job Summary
We are looking for a Data Processing Associate to support a US-based business operations project. The role involves reviewing customer data and documents, extracting relevant information, and accurately entering, updating, validating, or submitting details through designated client and government portals.
The ideal candidate should have strong English comprehension, excellent attention to detail, accurate data-entry skills, and the ability to follow SOPs and quality standards consistently.
Eligibility & Education
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.
Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).
9 months–2 years of relevant experience in data processing, BPO, business process services, document review, compliance operations, or a similar role.
Ex-TCS employees are not eligible to apply.
Required Skills
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong reading comprehension and analytical ability.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good typing and data-entry skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Ability to work with multiple web-based applications and learn new tools quickly.
Ability to understand and consistently follow SOPs, process instructions, checklists, and quality standards.
Good time management, problem-solving, teamwork, adaptability, and accountability.
Comfortable working in US and rotational shifts.
Ability to handle high-volume, routine, and deadline-driven processes while maintaining accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Review customer requests and source documents to understand the required processing activity.
Extract, enter, update, validate, and submit information in approved client systems, databases, and government portals.
Verify information for completeness, consistency, and accuracy before completing transactions.
Follow defined SOPs, business rules, quality controls, checklists, and escalation procedures.
Identify missing, unclear, or inconsistent information and raise queries or exceptions through the appropriate channels.
Meet assigned productivity, turnaround-time, quality, and SLA targets.
Maintain trackers and operational records using Microsoft Excel and other project tools.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and business information and comply with data-security requirements.
Collaborate with team members and participate in training and workload-management activities.
Important Information
PAN and Date of Birth (DOB) are required for profile creation.
Candidates must be comfortable working in US/rotational shifts.
Candidates should be willing to work from Gandhinagar.
