Finance & Accounting Associate (CA / CMA Qualified Fresher) – Chennai, US Shift

About the role

We are hiring CA qualified and CMA qualified freshers for finance and accounting roles in Chennai, supporting international clients on the US shift (night shift). This is a strong first job for newly qualified Chartered Accountants and Cost and Management Accountants who want hands-on experience in a global finance team. Relocation to Chennai is welcome, and a cab facility is provided. We are looking for immediate joiners.

Responsibilities

Process accounting transactions accurately and on time, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
Support month-end and year-end close activities
Prepare reports, schedules and analysis for clients and internal teams
Follow accounting standards, internal controls and compliance requirements
Work with the team and US-based stakeholders to meet deadlines and service levels
Keep accurate documentation and follow standard operating procedures
Learn the client’s systems, ERP tools and processes quickly

Qualifications
CA qualified fresher or CMA qualified fresher (0 to 1 year of experience)
Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and taxation basics
Good English communication skills, written and verbal
Working knowledge of MS Excel
Willing to work the US shift (night shift)
Willing to work from Chennai, or to relocate there
Able to join immediately
