About the role

We are hiring an FP&A Senior Associate in Bangalore to run budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis and management reporting. You will analyse actuals against budget and forecast, turn complex financial data into clear recommendations, and support managers and department heads in their decisions. You will also look after accruals, prepayments, capex and opex tracking, and MIS reporting. The role suits a finance professional with 4 to 10 years of FP&A experience. The salary is up to ₹12 LPA.

Key responsibilities

Budgeting and forecasting

• Prepare the company budget and rolling forecasts
  
• Drive performance management and forecasting
  
• Support project planning and project accounting
  
• Track capital and revenue expenditure (capex and opex)
  

Analysis and reporting

• Analyse actuals, targets, variances and forecasts every month and quarter
  
• Run variance analysis: actuals to budget, actuals to forecast and similar views
  
• Report to management on variances from budget and the reasons for them
  
• Prepare internal and external reports, KPIs and scorecards, with benchmarking and variance views
  
• Consolidate and interpret financial results for management and recommend improvements
  
• Prepare MIS reports
  

Business partnering and controls

• Analyse complex financial information and give accurate, timely recommendations for decision making
  
• Support operational decisions with area managers and department heads
  
• Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments
  
• Drive ongoing cost efficiency across the business
  

Required qualifications and experience

• 4 to 10 years of FP&A experience
  
• Exposure to budgets, variance analysis, forecasting and reporting
  
• Strong experience in variance analysis (actuals to budget, actuals to forecast)
  
• Knowledge of capex and opex, project planning and project accounting
  
• Experience with monthly accruals and prepayments
  
• Experience in MIS, KPI and scorecard reporting
  
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain financial results to management
  
• Advanced Excel skills
