Job Title : Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Spatial Analysis

Job Description

We are looking for a GIS Spatial Analysis professional responsible for validating, maintaining, analyzing, and improving the integrity of address and geospatial data. The role involves working with large address databases, performing complex geospatial analysis, resolving addressing queries, and preparing accurate address information for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Validate addresses for correctness and accuracy.
Maintain and improve data integrity within the client's National Address database.
Perform TLS Address Matching.
Review data integrity outputs from Address Administrators.
Prepare address information and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Report on addresses that are Ready for Service (RFS) and proposed for service.
Conduct quality assessments and analyze address-related data.
Liaise with relevant departments to resolve access seeker queries.
Maintain and operate address information obtained from various organizational sources.
Act as the first escalation point for addressing-related enquiries.
Undertake complex geospatial data analysis on addressing data.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Support training of staff when required.
Work independently and exercise sound judgment when handling complex tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Geospatial, Geographical, or a related field.
Practical experience in GIS and geospatial analysis.
Technical proficiency in Geographic Information Systems.
Experience maintaining large address databases in the private or public sector.
Experience using Spatialnet, ELMS, and Nearmap.
Knowledge of cadastral data, land titles, and property legislation.
Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
Intermediate database skills.
3–5 years of experience in the Telecom industry.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of attention to detail.
Experience in training staff.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Strong self-motivation, initiative, accountability, and reliability.
