About the role

We are hiring a Group Lead – Employee Benefits Operations in Pune to head the Employee Benefits line of business, covering travel claims processing and reimbursements for the India market. You will review claims for correctness and completeness, guide a team of processors, act as the single point of contact for stakeholders, and keep SLAs and KPIs on target. The role suits a senior professional from a finance and accounting (AP/AR) or HRO background with 10 to 12 years of experience, including managerial experience leading a team of 25 to 40. It is a day shift (9 AM to 6 PM IST) role with a salary of up to ₹17 LPA.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Employee Benefits line of business
  
• Review claims processed by the team for correctness and completeness
  
• Act as SPOC for stakeholders, answering queries and giving regular updates
  
• Guide the team of processors and oversee their performance
  
• Analyse claims to find trends, detect potential fraud and identify improvements
  
• Handle escalations promptly
  
• Publish performance reports and metrics to leadership
  
• Maintain process documentation and cross-skill team members
  
• Make sure SLAs and KPIs are consistently met
  

Required qualifications and experience

• 10 to 12 years of experience (the draft also says 10 to 15) in client management in a finance and accounting or HRO background, including claim reimbursements, especially travel claims
  
• 3 to 4 years minimum as a manager, leading a team of 25 to 40
  
• Finance and accounting background (AP/AR) and AP/AR reconciliation knowledge
  
• Commerce graduate, with CA Inter passed as the minimum qualification
  
• Experience in MS Office, advanced MS Excel and SAP
  
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Able to work under pressure and meet timelines
