Group Lead Master Data Management Jobs Pune | SAP HCM | 17 LPA

About the role

We are hiring a Group Lead – Master Data Management in Pune to own the employee master data (MDM) process across multiple locations. You will oversee master data changes in SAP HCM and SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC), run reconciliations, find the root cause of recurring data issues and publish MIS reports and dashboards. You will keep data governance, SOX and audit requirements on track, and lead a team of 15 spread across locations. The role suits a senior HR operations or data professional with 10 to 12 years of experience and hands-on knowledge of India labour laws. The salary is up to ₹17 LPA.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall employee MDM process across locations
  
• Perform and review MDM transaction processing activities
  
• Handle employee master data changes in SAP HCM and Employee Central
  
• Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  
• Run Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on recurring data issues
  
• Prepare and publish MIS reports and dashboards
  
• Make sure data governance, SOX and audit requirements are followed
  
• Lead, guide and review the work of a team of 15 across locations
  
• Support stakeholders and take part in continuous improvement initiatives
  

Required qualifications and experience

• 10 to 12 years of experience in HR operations, employee master data related work
  
• Hands-on experience with SAP HCM and Employee Central (EC) (mandatory)
  
• Proven Root Cause Analysis (RCA) capability (mandatory)
  
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of India labour laws (mandatory)
  
• Experience managing a team of 15 across multiple locations
  
• Hands-on experience in reconciliation and MIS reporting
  
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  
• Strong written and verbal English
  

Preferred qualifications

• Exposure to data quality and governance frameworks
  
• SAP HCM or SuccessFactors certification
