Job Title: Media Operations – Master Control / Mastering / Product Management Solutions
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 1–8 Years
Salary: Up to 10 LPA
Band: BPO 1/2/3
We are hiring professionals with experience in Media Operations, Master Control, Mastering, and Product Management Solutions to support end-to-end broadcast and OTT media workflows. The ideal candidate should have experience in broadcast, post-production, or digital media environments with expertise in media asset management, technical quality control (QC), mastering workflows, and broadcast management systems.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Media, Cinema, Broadcast, Post Production, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in Media Operations or Broadcast Technologies are an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform media ingest, asset preparation, validation, editorial updates, and transcoding.
Conduct technical QC for audio, video, subtitles, metadata, loudness, sync, and color validation.
Prepare transmission-ready master files and validate deliverables.
Monitor live broadcast channels and ensure uninterrupted playout operations.
Manage playlists, transmission schedules, as-run logs, and channel health.
Coordinate media workflows across broadcast, OTT, post-production, and distribution platforms.
Manage digital assets, metadata governance, and workflow documentation.
Support product management initiatives, workflow integrations, testing, and process improvements.
Troubleshoot media file and broadcast issues while ensuring SLA compliance.
Participate in reporting, audits, governance, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
Experience in Media Operations, Broadcast Operations, Mastering, or OTT workflows.
Knowledge of media ingest, technical QC, metadata management, and asset lifecycle management.
Experience with live playout operations and broadcast scheduling.
Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Avid, Pro Tools, DVS Clipster, Colorfront Transkoder, and related media tools.
Knowledge of IMF, ProRes, DCP, HDR/SDR workflows, Dolby Vision, and broadcast delivery standards.
Experience with DAM/CMS platforms, Aspera, Dalet, Reach Engine, Vubiquity, and Broadcast Management Systems.
Understanding of SQL, XML, JSON, AWS Media Services, and workflow automation is preferred.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment.
