Hiring: Mortgage Underwriter – End-to-End

Location: Pune / Gandhinagar
Experience: 6–12 Years | Salary: Up to ₹12 LPA
Band: BPO 3/4 | Shift: US Shifts

Join our Mortgage Underwriting team and leverage your expertise in end-to-end loan review, risk assessment and quality control!

Key Responsibilities

Perform QC on closed mortgage loan files and validate credit decisions
Analyze income, employment, credit strength, DTI, LTV and property appraisal
Review applications against lender, investor and government guidelines
Validate employment documents, down-payment/reserves, appraisal and title documents
Identify errors, deficiencies and underwriting risks
Review legal documents and mortgage insurance (MI) requirements
Ensure underwriting accuracy, quality and SLA adherence
Support new-hire training, floor support and quality feedback
Handle emails efficiently and meet underwriting deadlines

What We’re Looking For

⭐ 6–12 years of conventional mortgage underwriting / QA / QC experience
⭐ Strong knowledge of the complete loan lifecycle
⭐ Hands-on knowledge of Desktop Underwriter (DU) & Loan Prospector (LP)
⭐ Understanding of FNMA/Fannie Mae & FHLMC/Freddie Mac guidelines preferred
⭐ MI guideline knowledge is an advantage
⭐ Strong analytical, communication, multitasking and problem-solving skills
⭐ Excellent attention to detail and MS Office skills
Willingness to work US/night shifts
