Accounts Receivable / Senior Finance Analyst (OTC)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable / Senior Finance Analyst (OTC) to manage commission receivables, reconciliation, posting, and collection-related activities within the insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in insurance brokerage, P&C insurance, or financial services, along with strong accounting and reconciliation skills.

Key Responsibilities

Reconcile commission receivables received from insurance companies.
Follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely collection of outstanding commissions.
Ensure accurate and timely receipt, posting, and reconciliation of direct bill commissions on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Process corrections and changes to broker commission rates as required.
Track and maintain direct bill commission information, including carrier name, check receipt date, commission amount, processing date, and completion status.
Ensure all corrections, changes, and updates are properly documented.
Maintain accuracy in accounting records and reconciliation activities.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external insurance companies to resolve discrepancies.

Requirements

Graduate with 4–6 years of relevant billing, accounting, or Accounts Receivable experience.
Experience in the insurance brokerage industry or P&C insurance is preferred.
Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred.
Working knowledge of insurance agency management systems (AMS), such as BenefitPoint and Applied EPIC, is preferred.
Hands-on experience with the EPIC application is preferred.
Strong understanding of reconciliation, commission processing, billing, and receivables.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong team collaboration skills.
Good documentation and knowledge-sharing abilities.
