HRIS Analyst
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 1–5 Years
Role Overview
We are looking for an HRIS Analyst to support HR operations through effective management, maintenance, and enhancement of Human Resources Information Systems. The role will focus on HRIS data accuracy, system configuration, reporting, troubleshooting, testing, and process improvements.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with an HRIS platform, preferably Infor, along with strong Excel, analytical, and HR process knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update HRIS data while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
Configure system fields, workflows, and modules under senior HRIS guidance.
Troubleshoot HRIS issues and coordinate with IT teams and vendors for resolution.
Support system upgrades, testing, implementations, and new feature rollouts.
Develop and maintain recurring and ad-hoc HR reports including headcount, turnover, and compliance reports.
Analyze HR data and identify trends to support business decision-making.
Conduct regular data audits and quality checks to maintain data integrity.
Partner with HR teams including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, and Learning.
Support annual HR processes such as performance reviews, open enrollment, and compensation planning.
Create and maintain user guides, training materials, SOPs, and system documentation.
Conduct training sessions for HR staff and managers on HRIS functionality.
Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive employee information.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
1–5 years of experience, preferably 2–4 years in HRIS, HR Operations, or HR Analytics.
Experience with at least one major HRIS platform; Infor preferred.
Strong knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
Good experience with VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data cleaning.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting system implementations or module rollouts.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong collaboration and customer-service orientation.
Ability to understand HR processes and translate data into actionable insights.
Work Requirements
Ability to work extensively on a computer.
May require occasional travel to plant or customer sites.
Must maintain strict confidentiality of HR and employee data.
