Payroll Compliance Analyst – Wage Garnishments (US Process)

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced US Payroll Associates specializing in Wage Garnishment and Legal Order Processing. The candidate will be responsible for handling payroll-related legal obligations, including child support orders, tax levies, wage garnishments, and employee deduction updates.

Candidates should have hands-on Garnishment experience, good knowledge of US payroll procedures, and the ability to coordinate with external legal authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process wage garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, and other legal deductions.

• Manage payroll tax entries and special payment updates.

• Verify employee earnings and ensure accurate processing of legal orders.

• Communicate with US attorneys, courts, and government agencies to resolve garnishment-related concerns.

• Upload garnishment documents received through different channels into the payroll system.

• Monitor pending legal orders and ensure processing within stipulated timelines.

• Maintain payroll documentation and ensure data accuracy.

• Assist with payroll audits and post-payroll reporting.

Skills & Experience Required:

• 3–8 years of experience in Payroll / HR Operations.

• Mandatory experience in Garnishment processing.

• Good understanding of US Payroll processes.

• Experience with child support, levies, legal orders, and payroll deductions.

• Hands-on experience with MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP applications.

• Strong communication and analytical skills.

• Knowledge of Six Sigma concepts is desirable.

• B.Com or equivalent Commerce qualification preferred.
