Payroll (RTR) Lead

Location: Chennai
Experience: 5–8 Years
Band: BPO 3/4
Salary: Up to 12 LPA
Process: FAO – R2R – Payroll
Work Mode: 100% Work from Office
Shift: Night & Rotational Shifts

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Payroll (RTR) Lead with strong expertise in Finance & Accounting, Record to Report (R2R), core accounting, month-end close and payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities

Review and manage month-end close activities.
Perform Balance Sheet analysis and complex accounting entries.
Handle complex journals, including Revenue Recognition.
Manage payroll-related accounting and open-item resolution.
Prepare reports, dashboards and daily operational reports.
Participate in month-close meetings with the retained team.
Conduct governance calls and manage client interactions.
Ensure SLA adherence and process compliance.
Train and guide team members.
Drive continuous process improvements.
Work with ERP systems such as Oracle.

Required Skills & Experience

5–8 years of experience in F&A / RTR / R2R.
Strong knowledge of core and complex accounting.
Experience in month-end close and Balance Sheet analysis.
AR experience is required.
Payroll/RTR process experience preferred.
Experience with process improvement initiatives.
Good analytical and decision-making skills.
Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP tools; Oracle preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good organizational, data-entry and general mathematical skills.

Eligibility

Candidates must be willing to work 100% from office in Chennai.
Must be comfortable with night and rotational shifts.
Ex-TCS employees are not eligible.
PAN and DOB are required for profile creation.
