Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented R2R / General Ledger Analyst with 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting and record-to-report operations. The candidate should have hands-on experience in month-end closing, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to meet strict closing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute month-end and period-end closing activities within defined timelines.

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries, including accruals, provisions, and adjustments.

• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate outstanding items.

• Support general ledger maintenance and ensure accuracy of financial records.

• Assist in preparing financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.

• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and unusual variances.

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, internal controls, and audit requirements.

• Support SOX controls, internal audits, and external audit activities.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting queries and pending items.

• Contribute to process improvements and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.

Mandatory Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in R2R, General Ledger, or Financial Accounting.

• Hands-on experience in month-end closing and journal entries.

• Balance sheet account reconciliations.

• Knowledge of accruals, provisions, and financial reporting.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar ERP systems.

• Exposure to SOX controls and audit processes.

• Experience in shared services or multinational organizations.

• Knowledge of intercompany accounting and fixed assets.

• ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent accounting qualification (completed or pursuing).
