Job Title : R2R – Senior Associate
Role Purpose
The R2R – Senior Associate will be responsible for executing Record to Report (RTR) processes in accordance with documented procedures and customer requirements. The role requires hands-on expertise in transaction processing, journal entries, reconciliations, accounting activities, reporting, and month-end closing while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries and perform month-end closing activities.
Handle financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, and lease accounting.
Perform cash and balance sheet reconciliations, research open items, and drive them to closure.
Execute activities in accordance with the customer’s Statement of Work (SOW).
Meet defined Turnaround Time (TAT), quality, and accuracy targets.
Independently manage and complete assigned activities within agreed timelines.
Perform self-assessments to ensure activities are completed accurately and on time.
Provide hourly and End-of-Day (EOD) status updates on activities performed.
Provide daily progress updates to customers through professional emails and calls.
Identify process gaps and recommend appropriate controls to mitigate risks.
Monitor identified issues and ensure timely closure.
Identify process improvement opportunities and support improvement initiatives through completion.
Work from office as per business requirements.
Obtain prior approval from the Team Lead for planned leave and avoid unscheduled leave.
Support extended working hours from the office when required during errors, backlogs, month-end, and quarter-end close activities.
Technical Skills
Systems
Working knowledge of SAP or JD Edwards.
Good proficiency in MS Office, particularly:
MS Word
MS Excel
MS PowerPoint
Record to Report Expertise
Candidates should have hands-on experience in:
Journal entry preparation and posting
Month-end closing activities
Financial reporting
Fixed asset accounting
Lease accounting
Cash reconciliation
Balance sheet reconciliation
Researching and resolving open items
Communication Skills
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Ability to interact professionally and courteously with customers.
Strong written communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Eligibility Criteria
3–5 years of hands-on experience in Record to Report (R2R/RTR).
Strong experience in journal entries and month-end closing.
Experience in reporting, fixed asset accounting, and lease accounting.
Hands-on experience in cash and balance sheet reconciliations.
Working knowledge of SAP or JD Edwards.
Good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
Strong English communication skills.
Willingness to work in ANZ shifts.
5 days Work From Office (WFO) is mandatory.
Willingness to work one weekend during the month-end close cycle.
Must be medically fit to work in ANZ shifts.
Important Requirements
Candidates must be willing to work extended hours when required during month-end, quarter-end, errors, and backlog situations.
Planned leave requires prior approval from the Team Lead.
