Role Summary: Lead sourcing strategy and commercial management for real estate and
workplace-related categories, including leased spaces, facilities services, fit-outs,
maintenance, utilities, and associated service providers, while ensuring value delivery,
governance, and operational continuity.
Experience: 10+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or
commercial roles with significant exposure to real estate, facilities, workplace services,
capital projects, or property-related spend.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Supply Chain,
Engineering, Finance, Facilities Management, or a related discipline. Relevant certifications
in procurement, facilities, or project management are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute category strategies across real estate and workplace-
related spend areas, balancing cost, service levels, compliance, and risk.
Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for leased properties, facilities
management, fit-outs, maintenance services, utilities, and other real estate
support categories.
Drive supplier identification, RFx events, commercial evaluation, negotiation,
supplier selection, and contracting processes.
Partner with internal stakeholders such as facilities, operations, finance, legal,
workplace services, and project teams to define requirements and sourcing
priorities.
Support site selection, lease or service negotiations, and supplier governance
activities for property and facilities-related requirements.
Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, regulatory requirements, and
commercial benchmarks relevant to real estate and facilities categories.
Establish supplier performance reviews, service-level governance, and issue
resolution mechanisms to improve vendor outcomes.
Drive savings, demand optimization, contract value realization, and risk
mitigation across the real estate sourcing portfolio.
Ensure all sourcing activities comply with procurement policies, delegated
authority, contract governance, and audit requirements.
Coach team members and support standardization of sourcing processes,
templates, and reporting for real estate-related categories.
Core Skills: Strategic sourcing, real estate and facilities procurement, supplier governance,
negotiation, contract management, market analysis, stakeholder management, commercial
acumen, risk management, and reporting.
Key Success Measures: Savings delivery, supplier performance, service continuity,
contract compliance, sourcing cycle time, risk mitigation effectiveness, and stakeholder
satisfaction.
