Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8–10 years of experience in Record-to-Report (RTR) operations to join our finance team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in financial accounting, month-end closing, reconciliations, fixed asset and lease accounting, and financial reporting. The candidate should have proven SME experience, transition management exposure, and the ability to manage customer relationships while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute complex RTR processes and exception transactions requiring strong analytical skills and sound judgment.

• Prepare and post journal entries and perform month-end and quarter-end closing activities.

• Handle financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, lease accounting, and cash and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Research outstanding reconciliation items, investigate discrepancies, and drive timely resolution.

• Complete assigned activities in accordance with the customer’s Statement of Work (SOW), turnaround time (TAT), and accuracy targets.

• Perform self-assessments to ensure activities are completed accurately and within deadlines.

• Conduct quality checks of Senior Associates and Subject Matter Experts, providing constructive feedback.

• Identify internal control gaps, assess operational risks, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on mitigation plans.

• Identify potential errors, implement corrective measures, and prevent recurring issues.

• Support new joiners and Senior Associates through mentoring, process guidance, and knowledge sharing.

• Provide hourly and end-of-day status updates on completed activities and outstanding deliverables.

• Communicate daily progress to customers through emails and calls, ensuring timely updates and effective issue resolution.

• Prepare dashboards and management reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Identify process gaps, establish appropriate controls, and monitor corrective actions through closure.

• Drive process improvement initiatives for individual and team performance.

• Support transition activities, knowledge transfer, and process stabilization.

• Work extended hours when required to meet deliverables, manage backlogs, resolve errors, and support month-end or quarter-end closing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

• Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3 or equivalent).

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, particularly Record-to-Report operations.

• Proven experience as an RTR Subject Matter Expert with transition experience.

• Strong knowledge of journal entries, month-end closing, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Experience in fixed asset accounting and lease accounting.

• Ability to investigate reconciliation discrepancies and resolve outstanding items.

• Knowledge of internal controls, risk mitigation, quality assurance, and process governance.

• Strong customer management, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is preferred.

• Ability to work independently, manage complex transactions, and meet strict TAT and accuracy targets.

Work Requirements

• Work from the office in Noida.

• Support the ANZ shift, starting between 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM IST.

• Be available for extended working hours during critical closing periods and operational backlogs.

• Follow attendance, leave approval, quality, and customer delivery requirements.
