Role/Skill: Senior Associate

Salary: 6-7 LPA

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Associate with strong expertise in France Accounting processes and core accounting operations. The ideal candidate should possess 4 to 5 years of hands-on accounting experience with exposure to French accounting standards, financial transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end activities.

The role requires strong domain expertise in accounting and finance operations. Knowledge of the French language will be considered an added advantage but is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end France accounting operations and financial processes.

Handle journal entries, general ledger activities, and account reconciliations.

Perform month-end and year-end closing activities within defined timelines.

Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with accounting standards.

Process and review invoices, payments, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Support financial reporting and audit requirements.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders and finance teams for issue resolution and process improvements.

Maintain process documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance guidelines.

Analyze accounting data and identify discrepancies for timely resolution.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills

Strong experience in France Accounting processes.

4 to 5 years of relevant accounting and finance operations experience.

Good understanding of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and reconciliation activities.

Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

French language proficiency is an added advantage but not mandatory.

Domain expertise in accounting is mandatory.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience.

Candidates with France accounting exposure will be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience working in shared services/BPO finance operations environment is preferred.

PAN and DOB are required for profile creation**
