About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional to drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management. The ideal candidate will have strong P&L ownership, financial controlling, cash flow forecasting, and working capital management experience, along with the ability to partner with business leaders and drive strategic financial decisions.

Candidates from the Big Four consulting firms, FMCG, and Tobacco industries with strong financial planning and business partnering expertise are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, long-range financial planning, and financial performance analysis.

• P&L Ownership: Manage and monitor P&L performance, identify key financial drivers, analyze profitability, and recommend corrective actions.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Drive annual operating plans, rolling forecasts, and zero-based budgeting initiatives.

• Variance Analysis: Analyze actuals against budgets and forecasts, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to senior management.

• Business Partnering: Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to support strategic planning, cost optimization, and informed decision-making.

• Working Capital Management: Monitor working capital performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and optimize cash conversion cycles.

• Cash Flow Management: Develop cash flow forecasts, monitor liquidity, and support effective cash management.

• Financial Controlling: Ensure financial accuracy, robust controls, compliance with internal policies, and timely financial reporting.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, operations, supply chain, procurement, and other relevant business functions.

• Management Reporting: Prepare financial dashboards, MIS reports, management presentations, and performance updates.

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial planning processes, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10–15 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial planning, financial controlling, or business finance.

• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and P&L management.

• Demonstrated expertise in working capital management and cash flow forecasting.

• Experience in zero-based budgeting, cost optimization, and financial performance management.

• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business functions.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in financial modelling, management reporting, and financial analysis tools.

• Strong understanding of financial controls, reporting processes, and business performance metrics.

Education

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from a premier institute:

• Chartered Accountant (CA)

• Cost and Management Accountant (CMA)

• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

• MBA in Finance

Preferred Industry & Company Background

Candidates from the following organizations and industries will be preferred:

• Big Four: KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, and EY

• Industries: FMCG and Tobacco

Professionals with exposure to complex business operations, financial controlling, strategic business partnering, and large-scale financial planning processes will be an advantage.
