Senior Process Associate / SME – FP&A

Location: Chennai
Experience: 3–5 Years
Shift: Night Shift

Job Summary

We are looking for an analytical and forward-thinking FP&A Analyst / Senior Process Associate / SME to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of FP&A, financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, Oracle ERP, Hyperion, Advanced MS Excel, and Power BI. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to translate complex financial data into actionable insights and support business performance optimization.

Education

Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
CPA, CFA, or MBA is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis activities.
Prepare and analyze financial and variance reports.
Develop financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
Analyze financial data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Translate complex financial information into actionable business insights.
Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to support operational and financial decisions.
Manage and maintain financial data using Oracle ERP and related planning systems.
Support reporting and analysis using Hyperion, Smart View, Power BI, and Advanced Excel.
Monitor business performance against budgets and forecasts.
Support financial planning cycles and reforecasting activities.
Provide insights to help business leaders optimize financial and operational performance.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.

Good-to-Have Skills & Experience

4+ years of dedicated corporate FP&A or financial analysis experience.
Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP and planning platforms such as:
- Oracle EPM
- Hyperion
- Smart View
Strong understanding of:
- P&L
- Balance Sheet
- Cash Flow
- Accounting policies
- Capital allocation frameworks
Advanced MS Excel skills, including financial modeling, formulas, and data tables.
Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
