Supply Chain Team Lead / Operations Manager
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 4–8 Years
Band: BPO 3
Salary: Up to ₹9 LPA
Work Mode: Work from Office
Shift: Rotational / Night Shift
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Team Lead / Operations Manager to manage supply chain operations, client relationships, team performance, procurement activities, and exception handling.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing & Procurement, team leadership, stakeholder management, and operational delivery. The candidate should also be comfortable working with domestic and international suppliers/customers.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day Supply Chain Management (SCM) operations and ensure delivery of operational, functional, and business objectives.
Manage client relationships and serve as a key point of contact for operational matters.
Lead, motivate, and manage the team to achieve productivity, quality, and delivery targets.
Monitor team performance and conduct regular internal reviews with team members and leadership.
Monitor delivery, quality, exceptions, and operational KPIs.
Identify potential operational and business risks and ensure appropriate mitigation.
Handle escalations and drive timely resolution of operational issues.
Conduct process training and support employee development.
Assess employee performance and channelize workflow based on business requirements.
Manage and coordinate sourcing and procurement activities.
Support contract administration and ensure day-to-day procurement activities are aligned with contractual requirements.
Ensure operational activities meet business objectives while maintaining a profitable and efficient engagement.
Coordinate effectively with domestic and international suppliers/customers.
Drive continuous improvement and maintain strong operational governance.
Required Skills & Experience
5–7+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM).
Hands-on experience in Sourcing & Procurement.
Experience in team handling, people management, and performance management.
Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
Experience handling escalations, exceptions, and operational risks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to monitor delivery, quality, productivity, and operational performance.
Experience working with domestic and international suppliers/customers.
Good understanding of contract administration and procurement processes.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced BPO/operations environment.
Education
Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).
Bachelor's/Master's degree in B.Com / BMS / BBA / MBA preferred.
Relevant educational backgrounds may also be considered based on experience and skill fit.
Important Eligibility Criteria
Ex-TCS employees are not eligible to apply.
Candidates must be willing to work from office in Mumbai.
Candidates must be flexible to work rotational/night shifts.
PAN and Date of Birth (DOB) are required for profile creation.
Compensation
Up to ₹9 LPA, depending on experience, skills, and interview performance.
