Telecom Network Planning Associate – Ethernet Planning
Location: Hyderabad / Kolkata / Chennai
Experience: 1–5 Years

Shift: Primarily UK shifts; candidates must be flexible to work 24×7 rotational shifts.
Role Overview
We are looking for motivated professionals for the role of Telecom Network Planning Associate – Ethernet Planning to support enterprise telecom customers through the end-to-end delivery of Ethernet and Fibre services.
The role combines telecom order management, network planning coordination, customer-facing voice support, service delivery tracking, and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will coordinate with customers, network planners, field engineers, delivery teams, and service managers to ensure timely service activation and a positive customer experience.
Candidates with experience in FTTx/FTTP, Ethernet provisioning, Fibre planning, telecom operations, or service delivery are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Voice Support
Communicate with customers and stakeholders through phone calls, virtual meetings, and written correspondence.
Coordinate engineering visits and customer appointments.
Provide proactive updates on service delivery milestones, installation readiness, and appointment schedules.
Explain technical concepts in clear, customer-friendly business language.
Manage customer expectations, address queries, and handle escalations professionally.
Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service quality.
Telecom Order & Delivery Management
Manage telecom orders throughout the complete service delivery lifecycle.
Track order progress across survey, planning, design, network build, commissioning, and service activation.
Understand order milestones, dependencies, delivery blockers, and potential risks.
Coordinate with planning and delivery teams to resolve issues and avoid delays.
Support order orchestration and delivery assurance activities.
Maintain accurate order records, trackers, and operational updates.
Ensure timely completion of assigned activities in line with agreed service levels.
Network Planning & Service Delivery
Develop an understanding of Ethernet and Fibre network concepts.
Support network planning and service delivery coordination for enterprise customers.
Assist with FTTx/FTTP planning and delivery activities.
Coordinate with engineering teams on surveys, installation requirements, and network readiness.
Track provisioning, commissioning, and activation milestones.
Identify delivery risks and escalate blockers to the relevant teams.
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with customers, network planners, field engineers, project managers, service managers, and external partners.
Participate in customer governance calls and operational review meetings.
Provide clear updates on order status, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrate ownership, proactive follow-up, and strong problem-solving skills.
Reporting & Process Management
Maintain operational trackers and prepare reports using MS Excel.
Monitor open orders, pending activities, delivery milestones, and escalations.
Support KPI tracking, SLA compliance, and operational reporting.
Ensure accurate documentation and timely updates across systems.
Identify opportunities to improve coordination, delivery efficiency, and customer experience.
Required Experience
1–5 years of experience in telecom operations, network planning, Ethernet delivery, Fibre planning, service delivery, or customer experience management.
Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
Experience in customer-facing voice support or customer coordination.
Understanding of telecom order lifecycle and service delivery processes.
Knowledge of Ethernet or Fibre network concepts.
Exposure to FTTx/FTTP planning or delivery environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple customer orders and priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and operational tracking.
Willingness to work primarily UK shifts and adapt to 24×7 shift requirements.

Minimum Qualification: 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Any full-time graduate with relevant experience may be considered.
