Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about procurement and business operations? TCS is looking for Workflow Specialists to support Transactional Procurement and Vendor Master operations for global clients.

In this role, you'll work with enterprise procurement systems, collaborate with stakeholders across multiple regions, and play a key role in ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant procurement processes.

What You'll Do

As a Workflow Specialist, you'll support day-to-day procurement and vendor master activities while ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational excellence.

Procurement & Purchase Order Management

Validate purchase requisitions and convert approved requests into Purchase Orders (POs).
Review approvals, supporting documents, and required checklists before creating and issuing Purchase Orders.
Follow up with stakeholders to obtain timely approvals for requisitions and purchase orders.
Manage Purchase Order confirmations, amendments, and expediting activities.
Coordinate with buyers, requesters, and suppliers to ensure smooth procurement transactions.

Vendor Master Management

Review and validate requests for vendor creation, updates, and maintenance.
Verify supporting documentation, approvals, and compliance requirements before processing vendor records.
Create, update, and maintain accurate vendor master data in ERP systems.
Process vendor profile amendments and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.

Operational Support & Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for procurement and vendor-related queries.
Communicate with buyers, suppliers, requesters, and internal stakeholders via email and phone.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve transaction exceptions and processing issues.
Build strong relationships with internal teams and external business partners to ensure seamless operations.

Reporting & Compliance

Generate and analyze operational reports using reporting tools.
Monitor workflow queues to ensure timely transaction processing.
Escalate process bottlenecks, operational risks, and critical issues when required.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Maintain high levels of quality, productivity, and turnaround time (TAT).

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
1–5 years of experience in:
- Transactional Procurement
- Vendor Master Management
- Procurement Operations
- Shared Services
- Procurement Support
Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
