About the Role
Shape how a global enterprise learns and adapts. As a Training Lead in SCM, you’ll drive the learning journey for both internal procurement teams and thousands of end‑users as we deploy SAP Ariba Guided Buying and embed new ways of working. You’ll design and deliver compelling training programs—from facilitator‑led sessions to self‑paced modules—that transform complex source‑to‑pay processes into intuitive, everyday tasks. This is your opportunity to blend SCM domain expertise with training creativity, collaborating across countries and functions to make a lasting impact on a large‑scale corporate transformation. The role is Pan India, with the flexibility to work rotational shifts, including nights, as we support a global user base.

What You’ll Do

Training Delivery & Facilitation

Deliver engaging learning experiences for two key audiences: internal procurement employees and global end‑users. You’ll cover the full spectrum—source‑to‑contract, procure‑to‑pay (PR, PO, goods receipt, invoicing), sourcing lifecycles, and supplier management.

Use a mix of formats to cater to different learning styles: instructor‑led programs, experiential self‑learning modules, and comprehensive knowledge articles that help end‑users perform transactional activities in SAP Ariba Guided Buying and SAP S/4HANA.

Follow the guidance of the Global Training Manager to manage and update training content, ensuring it reflects the latest processes and tool configurations.

Collaboration & Alignment

Partner with Learning & Development colleagues to leverage existing tools, platforms, and expertise.

Work closely with in‑country Change Champions to test new training materials ahead of pilots and global rollouts.

Actively support the Change Manager and Project Coordinators in scheduling training sessions against project milestones, keeping everything on track.

Material Management & Standards

Ensure all training materials meet the client’s learning standards and are accessible through the learning centre.

Continuously improve content based on feedback, performance data, and updates from the supplier and process side.

What You’ll Bring

Must‑Have

Domain Experience: 4–7 years in Learning & Development/training within a large international organization, specifically focused on procurement/supply chain operations and the full procurement lifecycle.

SAP Ariba Expertise: Hands‑on experience training users on SAP Ariba, particularly around PR creation, PO processes, and guided buying. You can translate system steps into simple, actionable instructions.

PR‑to‑PO Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of the procure‑to‑pay cycle—from requisitioning to invoicing—and familiarity with related SCM concepts.

Communication & Facilitation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You can hold a room (virtual or physical), simplify complex topics, and connect with audiences at all levels.

Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work rotational and flexible shifts, including nights, to accommodate a global user base.

Good‑to‑Have

Broader source‑to‑pay process knowledge beyond PR‑PO (e.g., sourcing, contract management, supplier lifecycle).

Strong presentation and content design skills (PowerPoint, authoring tools).

Experience supporting ERP deployment and organizational change management within a procurement context.
