Buyer – Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 4–9 Years

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Buyer – Strategic Sourcing & Procurement to manage strategic sourcing, procurement activities, supplier relationships, negotiations, and contract management. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, along with hands-on experience in sourcing tools and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage strategic sourcing and procurement activities across assigned categories.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost and quality objectives.
Conduct sourcing events and support supplier selection and onboarding.
Manage contracts, supplier relationships, and procurement documentation.
Analyze procurement data and identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and analysis using Microsoft Excel and Tableau.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, best practices, and applicable legal requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolution of issues.

Must Have

5–8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in sourcing tools, contract management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.

Good to Have

CEFR English proficiency of B2 or higher; C1 preferred.
Experience with SAP Ariba for sourcing events, contract management, and supplier collaboration.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced spreadsheet formatting.
Advanced Tableau knowledge, including dashboard creation, filters, and workbooks for large-data analysis.
Knowledge of procurement best practices and legal requirements.
