Data Analyst (Portuguese)

Location: Thane
Experience: 5–8 Years
Shift: Rotational / Night Shift

Job Summary

We are looking for a Data Analyst (Portuguese) with strong Finance & Accounting knowledge and Portuguese language proficiency to support financial research, data analysis, and transaction-based processing activities.

The candidate will be responsible for researching, reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting financial statements and broker reports of large global corporations across multiple markets. The role involves extracting key financial data, performing data verification and accuracy checks, preparing reconciliations and financial reports, conducting web and document research, and interacting regularly with clients.

Education

B.Com / BAF / BMS / MBA – Finance will be an added advantage.
Candidates from other educational backgrounds may also be considered if they have strong Portuguese and English communication skills.
Certifications such as NISM, CMSA, or IFRS will be an added advantage.

Language Requirement

Portuguese language proficiency.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Research, review, analyze, and interpret financial statements and broker reports of large global corporations across multiple markets.
Extract and capture key financial data from:
- Income Statements
- Balance Sheets
- Cash Flow Statements
Capture financial data points such as Revenue, Net Income, EPS, Weighted Average Shares, Income Before Tax, Income Tax, and one-time charges.
Perform transaction-based and rule-based processing activities.
Conduct data verification and accuracy checks.
Perform formatting, posting, and data processing activities.
Prepare system-to-system reconciliations, balancing, and open item management.
Prepare financial reports and other required outputs.
Extract and document future estimates and guidance from press releases, earnings calls, and company presentations.
Conduct web research and document research to obtain relevant financial information.
Maintain accuracy and consistency of processed financial data.
Interact regularly with clients to understand requirements and resolve queries.
Work collaboratively with team members while managing multiple activities and deadlines.

Experience

Relevant experience in Finance & Accounting is preferred.
Experience with financial research, financial statements, broker reports, data analysis, reconciliation, or financial data processing will be an advantage.
