Delivery Manager - UK Payroll
Location: Chennai
Experience: 12 to 15 Years
Band: BPO 6
Shift: 12:30 PM IST to 11:30 PM IST (Candidates should be comfortable with night and rotational shifts as required)
Primary Skills
Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes including Source to Gross, Gross to Net, Net to Disbursement, and General Ledger processes.
Extensive experience in handling UK Payroll and statutory compliance.
Experience managing multi-country payrolls in a vendor/partner-based environment.
Understanding of HR, Payroll, and Finance system interfaces.
Experience managing payroll vendors and ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
Experience coordinating with internal teams such as Help Desk, R2R, and Application Maintenance teams.
Strong process improvement and transformation experience.
Experience supporting internal and external audits and ensuring compliance.
Experience managing large HR and Payroll teams of 50+ members.
Experience managing teams across multiple locations and countries.
Ability to handle transitions and onboarding of new countries into payroll operations.
Experience handling employee payroll queries through query management systems.
Strong stakeholder and client management experience.
Experience conducting weekly, monthly, and quarterly governance reviews with clients and partners.
Experience working with HMRC and handling payroll-related statutory matters.
Secondary Skills
Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar leadership role.
Strong understanding of UK payroll laws and regulations.
Knowledge of multi-location payroll and taxation.
Expertise in payroll preparation, balancing, controls, and payroll taxes.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
