Job Details:

Role: Finance and Accounting Analyst - AP / RTR - French Language

Location: Chennai, India

Band: BPO 3

Experience: 3 to 6 Years

Work Setup: Full-Time, Offshore Delivery, Onsite

Language: French - Read, Write, Speak - Mandatory

Education: Bachelor Degree in Commerce / Finance - Compulsory

Job Summary:

We are hiring Finance and Accounting professionals with French language expertise for AP or RTR roles. Candidates will be mapped to either AP or RTR track based on their experience and skill set. You need experience in only ONE area - not mandatory to have both.

Eligibility: Experience in AP OR RTR

TRACK 1 - Accounts Payable AP:

Must-Have:

- End-to-end AP lifecycle knowledge

- Invoice processing, 2-way / 3-way matching and posting

- SAP AP hands-on experience

- Knowledge of AP controls, compliance and audits

Responsibilities:

- Process and post invoices

- Resolve invoice exceptions - price, quantity, tax, duplicate

- Vendor reconciliation and GR/IR cleanup

- Handle payment proposal and payment runs

- Manage vendor and employee queries

- Support month-end close for AP

TRACK 2 - Record to Report RTR:

Must-Have:

- Strong RTR and accounting fundamentals

- Journal entries, accruals and reconciliations

- ERP experience - SAP FI preferred

- GAAP and IFRS knowledge

Responsibilities:

- Handle month-end and period-end close

- Prepare and post journal entries

- Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations

- Investigate and resolve open items

- Reporting and variance analysis

- Support audits and maintain documentation

Common Requirements Both Tracks:

- French proficiency is mandatory - RWS

- Ability to meet SLAs and deadlines

- Prior experience in shared services / BPO setup

- Strong communication and stakeholder management
