*ABOUT THE ROLE:*

We are hiring French Payroll Team Lead - End to End Payroll and Compliance for Mumbai!

If you have 5-10 years experience in France Payroll, Payroll GL Accounting, French Statutory Compliance, GL Reconciliation, Month-End Close, this role is for you.

*JOB DETAILS:*

Role: French Payroll Team Lead - End to End Payroll and Compliance

Band: BPO 3/4

Location: Mumbai - Onsite

Experience: 5-10 Years

Salary: 11-12 LPA

Work Mode: WFO

Employment Type: Full Time

*ROLE OVERVIEW:*

We are hiring a Team Lead to manage end-to-end France payroll and payroll GL accounting in a shared services / BPO setup. You will own payroll accuracy, French statutory compliance, month-end / year-end close, and GL reconciliations. French language is a plus, not mandatory. Strong France payroll domain is mandatory.

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*

- Lead end-to-end France payroll cycle - inputs, validations, calculations, and final run

- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing as per French statutory, tax, and social security rules

- Handle payroll GL postings and reconciliations and drive month-end / year-end close

- Review payroll outputs for salary, deductions, and benefits accuracy

- Ensure regulatory compliance and support audits with reports and documentation

- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders for inputs and resolutions

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies and escalations within SLA

- Mentor junior members, maintain SOPs / process docs and internal controls

- Drive process improvements and automation

*REQUIREMENTS:*

- 5-10 years in payroll operations with strong specialization in France payroll

- Hands-on in end-to-end payroll lifecycle

- Strong knowledge of French payroll regulations, statutory compliance, taxation

- Experience in payroll accounting and GL reconciliation

- Experience with payroll systems / HR-payroll tools in shared services

- Month-end close, escalation handling, team management, stakeholder communication

- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to deliver under strict deadlines

*GOOD TO HAVE:*

- Shared Services / BPO payroll background

- European / multi-country payroll exposure

- Payroll reporting and audit support experience

- French language - advantage, not mandatory with strong domain

*MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:*

- Strong France payroll domain experience required

- Payroll accounting and GL processing experience required

- Must be comfortable with Mumbai - Onsite

- Leadership experience preferred
