Job title : General Ledger (RTR) – Project Costing
Job Description : TCS is hiring candidates for the General Ledger (RTR) – Project Costing role in Gurgaon. The position involves project costing, general accounting, bookkeeping, reporting, GL reconciliation, invoicing, journal entries, accruals, month-end close and related finance operations.
Location : Gurgaon
Experience : 3–7yrs
Required Skills :
- Good English communication skills
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Strong understanding of general accounting processes
- Good domain knowledge in Project Costing / RTR
- Strong ability to sort, check, count and verify numbers
- Good MS Office skills – Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Result-oriented approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of work-related information
- Strong reconciliation and reporting skills
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle job routing, invoicing and invoice distribution.
- Complete job invoicing and update receiving report logs.
- Perform GL reconciliation, job listing and WIP activities.
- Manage materials allocation, labour hours and cost details.
- Prepare and process Statement of Values (SOVs) and invoicing.
- Prepare, post and analyze journal entries.
- Perform account reconciliations and accrual creation/posting.
- Communicate with internal and external customers regarding queries.
- Support month-end close activities.
- Track and report SLA/KPI performance.
- Participate in process improvement and transformation initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Graduate in any relevant discipline.
- 3–7 years of experience in Project Costing / General Accounting / RTR.
- Experience in general bookkeeping and reporting.
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Candidates should be willing to work cooperatively with team members
Important Points :
- Ex-TCS employees are not eligible to apply.
