Role Overview

TCS is hiring a German Language Processor Lead (HRO + German) to lead end-to-end Hire-to-Retire (H2R) operations for global clients. The role is responsible for leading German-language HR operations, managing employee lifecycle processes, driving service excellence, mentoring teams, ensuring HR compliance, and collaborating with global stakeholders to deliver exceptional HR Shared Services.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Service Delivery

Lead Tier-1 and Tier-2 HR support for German-speaking employees.
Manage HR queries related to Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Recruiting, Time & Attendance, Performance Management, and Employee Relations.
Ensure SLA, TAT, quality, and productivity targets are achieved.
Act as the escalation point for complex HR cases.
Support and mentor HR Operations team members.

Hire-to-Retire (H2R) Operations

Manage complete employee lifecycle processes.
Handle onboarding and pre-employment documentation.
Maintain employee master data.
Process transfers, promotions, organizational changes, and employee updates.
Manage leave administration and offboarding activities.
Perform Workday HCM transactions accurately.

Learning & Development

Lead Learning Operations activities.
Coordinate training programs with business stakeholders and vendors.
Track learning completion and maintain training records.
Drive process standardization and operational excellence.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Coach and mentor HR Operations associates.
Conduct quality reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and Global HR teams.
Participate in governance meetings and client reviews.

Data Governance & Compliance

Ensure employee data accuracy and integrity.
Maintain GDPR and organizational compliance.
Monitor dashboards, KPIs, quality metrics, and productivity.
Support internal and external audits.

Continuous Improvement

Identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
Support transition projects and process documentation.
Drive Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8–10 years of experience in HR Shared Services / HR Operations / HRO.
Fluency in German (B2/C1 or above).
Strong English communication skills.
