Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Spatial Analyst
Location: Mumbai, India
Experience: 1–5 Years
Salary: Up to ₹9 LPA
We are looking for a detail-oriented GIS Spatial Analyst to join a dynamic team supporting geospatial analysis and address management within the telecommunications industry. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spatial analysis, geospatial databases, and telecom-related mapping projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate and maintain address data for accuracy and integrity.
- Perform spatial analysis and geospatial data assessments.
- Support address matching and database maintenance activities.
- Prepare reports and address information for internal and external stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve addressing-related queries.
- Maintain geospatial information from multiple data sources.
- Conduct quality assurance on GIS datasets.
- Support continuous improvement of address management processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Geospatial, Geography, GIS, or a related discipline.
- 1–5 years of GIS or geospatial analysis experience.
- Experience using GIS tools such as SpatialNet, ELMS, or Nearmap.
- Strong understanding of spatial databases and metadata standards.
- Experience within the Telecommunications industry is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience maintaining large address databases.
- Knowledge of cadastral data and land title systems.
- Experience training team members.
