Job title: Group Lead - Master Data Management | Pune

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Group Lead – Master Data Management to manage Employee Master Data Management (MDM) operations across multiple locations. The role involves leading a team of 15 members, ensuring data accuracy and governance, managing SAP HCM and Employee Central transactions, and driving continuous process improvements.

Location: Pune

Experience: 9-14 years

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of 15 team members across multiple locations.
Perform and review Employee MDM transaction processing activities.
Manage overall Employee MDM processes for multiple locations.
Handle employee master data changes in SAP HCM and Employee Central (EC).
Perform reconciliations and resolve data discrepancies.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring data issues.
Prepare, validate, and publish MIS reports and dashboards.
Ensure compliance with data governance, SOX, and audit requirements.
Support stakeholders and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and adherence to defined processes and controls.

Mandatory Requirements:

Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven hands-on experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Hands-on experience in reconciliation and MIS reporting.
Hands-on experience with SAP HCM and Employee Central (EC).
Knowledge and hands-on experience of India Labour Laws.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience in managing teams and operations across multiple locations.

Preferred:

Exposure to Data Quality and Data Governance frameworks.
SAP HCM / SuccessFactors certification.

Important points:

Candidates who have previously worked with TCS are not eligible.
