Role Overview

TCS is hiring an experienced HRIS Specialist with strong expertise in Workday to support, configure, and optimize HR Information Systems across global operations. The role is responsible for end-to-end HRIS support, Workday configuration, release management, troubleshooting, business process optimization, reporting, system governance, and collaboration with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Rewards, and HR Shared Services teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L1, L2, and L3 support for Workday HRIS modules.
Troubleshoot complex Workday issues and perform root cause analysis.
Configure Workday business processes, validations, notifications, eligibility rules, and routing logic.
Develop and maintain calculated fields, reports, dashboards, and EIB templates.
Manage Workday Release (R1/R2) impact assessments, regression testing, and UAT activities.
Lead Workday configuration and onboarding for new business units.
Coordinate testing, cutover, hypercare, and change management activities.
Support HR Business Partners, Payroll, Rewards, and HR Shared Services.
Drive HRIS enhancements and continuous process improvements.
Ensure system integrity, data quality, governance, and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of HRIS experience.
Minimum 5 years of Workday experience.
Experience with PeopleSoft.
Strong Workday configuration skills.
Hands-on experience with:

Calculated Fields
Workday Reporting
Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
Security Configuration
Release Management
UAT Management
Global HR Operations
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
